PALM BEACH, Fla. – In support of the the Susan G. Komen Foundation, hundreds gathered at the Mar-A-Lago Club in Palm Beach to help raise money and bring awarness for breast cancer.

The event “Perfect Pink Party” raised thousands of dollars in 2011 for research and organizers expect the gala will do the same its second year.

Governor Rick Scott and his wife attened the event as honorary co-chairs and Donald Trump also made an appearance.

The event is just one of the many happening in preparation for the annual Race for the Cure, which is scheduled for January 28th.

The gala also comes just a day after the Royal Park Bridge went pink all thanks to a huge light configuration installed.
